One simple trick is to add more fruits and veggies to your diet.
Fruit and veggies have been linked to a 21% Decrease in risk of Stroke. A study following 760,629 participants found the ones who ate the most fruits and veggies on a daily basis did the best.
Stroke is the 4th leading cause of Death in the U.S
Definition of stroke: Stroke occurs when blood flow to part of the brain is blocked by a clot or a burst blood vessel. Without Emergency care a stroke can lead to brain damage or death.
Eating fruits and veggies can lower blood pressure, cholesterol and improve weightloss, all prevention factors in stroke.
The most powerful effects come from Citrus fruits, Leafy vegetables, Apples and Pears.
So grab an apple and a pear and chop it up on your organic baby greens salad, chop up a chicken breast. Drizzle all with Lime Canary Island Garlic Herb olive Oils and a splash of Braggs Apple cider vinegar and you are well on your way to a healthy lunch!
